This Privacy Policy explains how Linevo Trace ("we," "our," or "us") handles information when you use our mobile application and related services. By using the app, you agree to this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

1. Overview

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. Linevo Trace is a creative art tool designed to help users learn and practice art by providing traceable reference guides. The app is built with a strong focus on user privacy.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information.

Our app currently:

Uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (see Section 7)
Does not display advertisements
Does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions
Does not require account registration or sign-in

3. Device Features & Permissions

Linevo Trace requests access to certain device features to provide its core functionality.

Camera

The camera is used to display a live camera feed with an overlaid reference guide, enabling users to create art on real paper. It may also be used to capture photos and videos of completed artwork.

The live camera feed is processed on the device and is not uploaded or transmitted to us.

Microphone

Microphone access is used only when recording video of the creative process. Audio may be captured alongside the video and saved locally to your device. Microphone data is not uploaded to us.

Photo Library — Read Access

Photo Library access is used when you choose to import your own image to convert it into a traceable reference guide. The app only accesses photos that you choose or otherwise permit the app to access through the device's permission system.

Photo Library — Write Access

Photo Library access may also be used to save captured photos and videos of your artwork to your device's photo library.

Media captured or imported through these features is processed locally for the app's functionality and is not uploaded to our servers.

4. Local Data Storage

Linevo Trace may store app data locally on your device using:

UserDefaults — for app settings, preferences, and progress.
Keychain — for securely storing certain app-related data where appropriate.

This locally stored app data is not uploaded to our servers.

5. How We Use Information

The app uses locally stored data to:

Save and restore your recent works and progress
Remember your preferences and settings
Track time spent and projects completed for the Stats feature
Provide and maintain the app's core functionality

We do not operate servers that collect your personal artwork, imported photos, camera feed, or recorded media.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent personally identifiable information.

The app uses Firebase Analytics as described below. Analytics information may therefore be processed by Google in accordance with Google's applicable terms and privacy policies.

7. Third-Party Services

Firebase Analytics (Google)

We use Firebase Analytics to collect usage and diagnostic information that helps us understand how the app is used and improve the user experience.

Depending on the platform, configuration, and Firebase services, analytics information may include:

App usage events, such as features used and templates viewed
Device information, such as device model and operating system version
App version and general technical information
Approximate or general information derived from technical data, where applicable
Other analytics data automatically processed by Firebase Analytics

We do not use Firebase Analytics to directly request your name, email address, or other account information because Linevo Trace does not require account registration.

We currently do not use:

Advertising services
Firebase Crashlytics
Payment processors
Authentication or sign-in services

If additional third-party services are added in future versions of the app, this Privacy Policy may be updated accordingly.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to maintain app security and protect user privacy. User-created artwork, imported images, camera content, and recorded media are intended to remain on your device unless you choose to export, save, or share them using features available on your device.

9. Children's Privacy

Linevo Trace does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app does not require users to create an account or provide their name or email address to use its core functionality.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates may be posted within the app, on the app's related policy page, or through other appropriate means.

We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

11. Terms of Use

By using Linevo Trace, you agree:

To use the app only for lawful purposes.
Not to misuse, disrupt, damage, or attempt to interfere with the app's functionality.
That you are responsible for maintaining data stored locally on your device.
To respect applicable intellectual property rights relating to templates, reference guides, graphics, and other content provided by Linevo Trace.

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
